. Hi! Albie here. This last weekend we had bit of adventure in San Diego. We stayed overnight on Shelter Island and in the morning woke up to see the beautiful view of the water in the bay. We sat under a shady flower arbor and watched kayakers and boats sail by while we ate ham, eggs and pancakes. Sounds relaxing huh!
Then we went to the beach and I took my dog Kiba into the ocean. It was low tide and we were able to wade out together over the jade green rocks. The water was so cool and refreshing and I was surprised to see Kiba enjoying the water as much as I was. You can see more about the fun we had in the video at the top of the page. 🙂

I know you know what I’m talking about!

So yeah, I know you’ve been in the same boat as me. In fact what really happened was I was trying to buy a ONE-time product that would save me fromspending monthly on a service. But after spending almost $60, instead of getting the equivalent, I realized it was
no where near the same quality. And there were endless upgrades but the worst was I couldn’t get my money back. I ended up spending the 60 dollars PLUS spending the monthly. Yeah I know – it felt like a sucker punch!

PICNIC ON THE BEA CH

This weekend we had a picnic at Seal Beach. We bought two kinds of pizza from two different
pizza shops so we could see which pizza we liked the best (lol)! As it turned out, the first pizza shop won because the pizza was thicker and bigger
and came with more for the same price.
.
Then we found a cool shell and souvenir shop and had fun buying all kinds of pretty shells
and other nick knacks including a Hawaiian bamboo wind chime! After eating, we enjoyed setting
up the shells on the sand and taking a bunch of camera shots of it. The picture with the waves breaking
in the background won out and so that’s the one you can see in the picture above! Do you like it?

. What exactly do you want to achieve?

A million dollars? The thing is that this is
NOT really a good answer. Better to think what you
want to DO with that million dollars and WHY. Then you’ll
be closer to the real answer.
Once you figure that out,
it helps to be very concise about this and write it down.

Second, it’s important to nourish your dream and let everything you do
in your day be about accomplishing it – even if it doesn’t help
directly (such as working a job to pay the bills).
.
If you are successful in the small things and in your daily actions
then eventually that success will catch up with your dream. It’s important at this point to read

Let’s begin with a video by Jim Rohn. Don’t underestimate the IMPORTANCE
of this video. Rohn spent much of his live advocating for the power of self-discipline,
and he delivered his seminars for more than 40 years. He died in 2009 with a net worth
of more than $500 million dollars. There’s literally no one else that
I know who can inspire you quite like Jim.

I happen to LOVE sailing.
However, I was really bad at it for a long time!
It took me making a lot of mistakes (crashing into a friends boat, a sea wall
and later rocks) and countless storms to get good at it. I’m not saying you
have to do the same thing, but you will notice that a child has to fall
down a LOT before they learn to walk.

After three years of sailing a couple times a week for four hours each session,
I began to realize I was gaining a lot of confidence and could take my friends
and family sailing with me, knowing that I would be able to have a
good trip and stay out of harms way. But it wasn’t until after 35 storms
that I developed a rock solid confidence sailing.

One of my favorite past times is heading out to sea in my Columbia 22 sailboat.
I usually set out during the day and sail about 4 miles out, enjoy the sunset and
come back at dark. Enjoying the moon and stars above me, the waves behind me pushing
me back and the faint glow of the kitchen light in the boats cabin
are all things that take my mind off the normal issues of the day and
things I really enjoy about being out at sea!

The dangers include watching for the red port and
green starboard lights of ships coming through the shipping lanes and trying to find
the harbor red and green lights so I can make it back safely.
