Adventures in Miniature Boats

.
Hi Albie here. Whoever thought you could have so much fun with miniature boats! Well, if you don’t have a real life sized one – this is the next best thing. Especially when you’re a kid and don’t have any other choice.

.

When I was a kid, it was either drawing boats or making miniature ones (or building model ones). I couldn’t get enough of any of the three. In fact I put them all together and created a “pirate game”. I drew the map and game board, and built the ships that were in the game. Then I wrote each of the adventures on the cards. We had a lot of fun and would play for hours!

.

.

Later, when I grew up, I built a miniature sailboat from a wooden frame that I created with wooden beams that I bent and shaped. I created it to be watertight and eventually sailed it across lakes and even into the ocean! It survived huge beach waves and getting flipped upside down by huge “monster” waves along the shore. It was built to be able to flip right side up – just like a real sailboat and it did! I was so proud.
I even created a video adventure with miniature sailboats sailing with the wind. You can see it here. I mean, there’s excitement when a miniature boat gets a breeze across its beam, catches speed and begins to take off!

.

.

It took me over a year to build that boat in my spare time and I sure learned a lot about real boats in the process. I literally had no idea that you could take new wood and soak it in really hot water for half an hour and that it would then be pliable to bend along a frame. Later when the wood dried, it would hold its shape!

.

The other thing I learned was how amazing math was. I have always been bad in math and hated it since I was a kid (I had an abusive teacher when I was in elementary school who caused me to fear and hate it). What I wish I had known as a kid is that boats are built completely on math and I think it would be the most excellent way of teaching math to a child (or anyone for that matter). I mean, for instance, the width and length of the boat will give it stability
and along with the weight of the ballast, will help it maintain its balance. The mast will stand if it’s the right size with correct proportions and will hold the sails full of wind – only if there is enough width and weight in the boats makeup. Symmetry is especially important too and math is everywhere: for example: how tall the mast is, compared to how long the boat length is and how much ballast in the hold. And there are a million other numbers you have to consider to
make a beautifully working boat! You can see some beautiful examples of miniature boats in my new video coming out soon.

.

I personally love these miniature tall ships and how much detail is given to them – almost like the real thing!

.

In fact I spent a couple years volunteering on a couple real tall ships in San Pedro California to help inner city kids. We would take groups of kids sailing and teach them life skills at the same time. We would sail them out to Catalina Island and other places. It was actually very effective (which is kind of hard to explain unless you actually try it yourself). The thing is that being on a boat for a weekend, actually creates a natural environment to work together
as a team and it can be life changing
on occasions for kids and adults.

.

So, anyway, I learned a lot about real ships by being part of the crew for two years on a “Tall Ship” with masts and sails like the old Clipper ships and this helped me understand ships much better. It also helped me realize the difference between what a good miniature ship was and a bad one.

.

I could tell almost instantly if the miniature ship was built according to real proportions of a real ship and if the lines and spars were correct. Finally, if you want to give your child a little adventure, you can create a real live working miniature boat just with a soda bottle, some rocks, a stick from a tree, a knife or scissors, a piece of paper and a rubber band. I learned this on my own from a lot of trial and error and hope you enjoy it like I did!

.

.

.

Here’s how you do it:
First off, you cut a little hole into a soda bottle at the back of it (which will now be the top deck of your boat).
Make sure the cap is closed on your soda bottle. You can use any size soda bottle you want, you just will need a bigger stick and rocks based on what size it is.

Then cut a tiny little hole in the center of the bottle (still on the “top deck”). Place a few rocks into the first hole you cut out.
Then place the stick through the center hole and take a few rocks and “rubber band” them to the bottom of the stick.
You want just enough rocks to ballast the boat – not to sink it.

Now take the white paper and cut it in half. Put two small holes with the scissors unto the paper (one at the top and one at the bottom).
Then place the stick end or “mast” top through the two holes and you have yourself a sail!

Just make sure the rocks are below the mast and are “balanced” near the mast. You don’t want the rocks to imbalance the boat.
If the rocks are placed improperly, the boat will “list” on its side instead of float upright with the mast pointing directly up towards the sky.

.

Now launch the boat into a body of water, such as a lake. If you want to get it back, then simply tie fishing line to the back of it and pull it back gently towards you when you want it back.

.

If there is any wind the boat will move through the water. If there is too much wind, the boat will list and then possibly sink. You just want enough wind to push the boat gently through the water!

.

I hope you have enjoyed hearing the various “adventures” you can have with miniature ships and boats. Along with this you can also have adventures sharing what you love and earning online too. I’ve shown you an example of how I’ve shared my love of miniature boats with you and now I’m going to share a link with you to join us online and learn the skills you need to bring yourself prospects and paying members under you:

Hi Albie here! For many years I was looking for the girl of my dreams. Dating was actually pretty painful for me. Finding someone that you can be infatuated with is pretty easy but to find someone that you feel completely “at home” with inside your heart, is another.

.

I didn’t know it at the time but when I found Janette, she became to me like my best friend and lover at the same time. It’s really hard to just “find” someone who is a best friend. I mean, I’ve had four best friends in my life. And each of them was not easy to find nor did I find ANY of them “searching” for them. They all came into my life completely
“by accident” when I was least expecting it.

God’s love is there for you and I always. And its this love that has walked hand in hand with Janette and I through the years. Its been the constant, the bottom denominator, and the reason we’ve come through all the bad times and forgiven each other. It’s this love that has been the light that has illuminated our darkness.
.
This is the love that you don’t have to be “lucky” to find or be in the right place at the right time. And I’ve found that if you find “the one” that it will eventually turn sour without the author of love in the middle of it.
.
Today I hope you know how loved you are. Even if you can’t feel it, you can know you are because the author of life and love gave his everything for you. If you need me to explain, then simply email me back.

.

Not only are you loved but we have been given life and options to choose this or that, go here or there and work hard to achieve our dreams. Many of us have families and friends and those we love. But in addition, you have a team of friends waiting here for you if you want it. I find it a beautiful thing working with you and others that connect with me online and I would love to meet you too! .

Hi Albie here! Here’s a “wee” little sea story for you…(haha!)

.

When I got down to the marina where my boat was, the wind was blowing soft, pretty patterns over the water and I felt excited to be going out on the ocean again.

.

There’s just simply nothing quite like getting the boat ready and then skillfully maneuvering the sails so that the wind blows my boat swiftly out…

Hi Albie here! Right now, I’m writing this at the dock while waiting to go aboard the Catalina Express ship. This is a really fast catamaran shaped vessel that flies through the water propelled by two or three huge engines.
.

White water shoots across the water, shot out by the massive engines as the Catalina Express flies across the sea toward Avalon. This is the main town on Catalina that is still just as quaint as ever, with its lack of cars and lack of overpopulation.

On our anniversary, over twenty years ago, my wife Janette and I stayed at a really cool pink “Victorian era” like hotel called Hotel St. Lauren. I’m looking over at it right now and remembering how much fun we had there!
.
My daughter and I then enjoyed renting a couple of bikes and riding fast along the main road along the ocean. It was fun to feel the ocean breeze on our faces, the pretty waves crashing along the beach as we rode swiftly past shore line cliffs and…

Making Cash While Relaxing

.

Hi Albie here! Right now, I’m writing this at the dock while waiting to go aboard the Catalina Express ship. This is a really fast catamaran shaped vessel that flies through the water propelled by two or three huge engines.

It was fun to feel the ocean breeze on our faces, the pretty waves crashing along the beach as we rode swiftly past shore line cliffs and rocks. That feeling has a lot to do with the adrenaline rush too – I’m
sure!

.
–> If you want to see how you can make income while you’re relaxing on vacation, go here <–
.
Together, my wife, daughter and I each took turns leading our cute fluffy dog along the hotels, beach shops, restaurants, and ocean wharf. One of the beautiful things about Catalina is that the ocean and water here is crystal clear and a magnificent green and blue hue. It’s also a bit cold in the winter (as I found after dropping my towel on the sand and jumping in the waves!).
.
We then found a friend who was willing to take us in his golf cart and motored us up and down and all over the hills of Avalon. It was really beautiful! As you may imagine, there’s still tons of trees and nature here as it’s a protected island and it feels like a breath of fresh air from Los Angeles.
.
You may be wondering how an island adventure has anything to do with working online and what tips I can give you about it from this! Good question. It’s just that almost any topic you pick can become a perfect subject to explain internet marketing.
.
For instance, one of the main things I felt while being here is just the ability to just take a break from all my work and from wondering how my clients were doing and what sales we made today etc…
.
However, I will point out that we made a big sale today while we were here and the cool thing was that I didn’t really have to do anything. When Elizabeta (my business partner) texted me on Skype to tell me about the sale, all I did was smile and tell my wife! Haha.
.
DON’T MISS THIS:

.
But let me not lead you into a delusion. Elizabeta and I honesty do work and we do implement bits and pieces of the 5 Critical Skills everyday. I mean, we advertise everyday (Skill #1), we make capture pages every other week or so (Skill #2), we build our list
every day (get new subscribers to our email listSkill #3), we email clients, prospective subscribers and paying members back each day (Skill #4), and we work on building and eventually completing new funnels, emails and programs a little each day (I mean, that’s partly what I’m doing writing this – Skill #5).
.
Like multi-millionaire, Jim Rohn talked about: “Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day.
.
See what I mean? Can you do this? Of course!
.
You just need some coaching how to create some practical habits and be persistent to see your part time eventually turn into additional part time cash as you take your business anywhere in the world. Can this change your life and lifestyle? For sure.
.
Makes sense?

Like a blue design stamped on paper

.

.

Hi! Albie here. My wife Janette and I love to use rubber stamps and make creative cards and designs. Have you ever tried anything like that before? It was art with a real twist (lol)! The cool thing is you didn’t have to be a good “artist” to make something nice. 🙂

.

It was actually really fun to take a rubber stamp of a flower, ship, heart or lighthouse, dab it in a soft red or blue ink pad, huff hot air on it and then place it on the paper; push down carefully and then remove it. The end result was a wonderful design on your paper.

.

.

And it kept getting better and better if you began to learn how to add the next appropriate design next to it, dab a sponge on the paper just right to add multi-shades of color, a ribbon, corrugated paper backgrounds, embossed images in gold or silver, cut out stamped images mounted higher than the the other pictures on the paper or even if you knew a little origami and knew how to stamp the folded paper just right.

.

.

Just to let you know, we had a lot of fun with this and got really good at it too and could teach it really well. Before we even knew what we were doing, we became “demonstrators” with Stampin’ Up! and could earn income from it, teaching others how to do it and to sell stamp sets to others. Here’s a list of all the things we mastered!

STAMPING VIDEO:

Here’s a video of Two Step Stamping for you!
I took a few minutes to put it together for you real quick so you could understand the concept:

.

You know it took three years to get really good at this. And then I realized one day that my art business was all based on the customers I created in my hometown and the realization that I could not take my business around the world. This really shook my foundation and I decided to study real-estate instead. But years later settled on internet marketing because it was truly something I could build anywhere.

Many years later, everything changed and the whole world moved online, including the arts and crafts world and Stampin’ Up! You can join us too by just clicking the link below. We look forward to having fun together and earning at the same time!

===>> Share what you love and earn online! <===

.

All this to share with you two things: One, you have to like what you do if you want to do it really well.

.

Two, you have to give it real time to master it. And it’s the same for internet marketing. The thing about internet marketing is that you can share anything you love online and earn from it and also even if you’ve been trying for some time without success, there’s hope. It all begins with learning real marketing skills.

.

.

And that’s something we can teach you as we found it essential to earning consistently. And if that’s your goal too, then don’t take the easy way out. Learn them and begin to master a real skill. It will pay off for you much better than hoping in magic, luck and “done for you” garbage that doesn’t teach you anything. Nor do you become anything valuable. Your real value is who you become, not how many scams you can get suckered into buying.

.

So now it’s time to think about what will you do to achieve your dreams? The thing is, you don’t have to search everywhere to figure out the formula like my business partner, Elizabeta and I did. Let me encourage you to learn the Five Critical Skills that will enable you to start achieving online.

Been to Hawaii?

Hi! Albie here.

I’m curious if you’ve ever been to Hawaii or somewhere tropical? I remember the water being so warm and clear with this blueish green tint. It always made me feel so happy being there. I couldn’t seem to stay long enough (lol). But I’m sure it’s like anywhere else. Once you live and work there, it becomes “normal” and you eventually lose that “this place is different high”.

.

.

Anyway, something that ALWAYS stays fun and fresh for me is sharing what I love with you! I can share something new and exciting everyday, because everyday is something awesome to do or share. I mean, even if you haven’t gone outside for even a second, there’s still amazing things you’ve done in your life that are just waiting to be shared with others. And the cool thing is that you can earn from it too! Earn from home or earn from anywhere you are on the internet. 🙂

.

So if you’re anything like me and love earning and sharing what you love with others or are interested in learning how to, then you definitely want to check out my New REPORT, called: “Earn Sharing What You Love“. And what else is exciting is you don’t have to subscribe or anything to get it! Just click the link and GO AFTER IT!

You can check it out for free here.

Finally I want to share with you again that having a solid foundation in marketing is really important if you want to work successfully online without trouble. Honestly there are five critical skills you have to begin learning to succeed here and its my passion to help you to learn them.

.

So if you’re looking to find a safe place to begin succeeding, then we want you on our team. If that’s the case, then please
