“What is this, 1664?” I thought as the wooden ship creaked and groaned
around me. I was sailing to Catalina in a real square rigged sailing ship
and it felt like I had gone back in time. 

Pirates, pirate gold, adventures at sea! This is the stuff that got me going,
learning how to sail in the first place. I guess it can’t be helped that not only
did I start sailing but also wrote a book about it too (lol!).
