“Aagh!” I gasped as the cool ocean water drenched me.

It was a beautiful sunny day down at the beach. It was warm outside and pleasant. There were no meetings to attend to or clients waiting to talk to me.
.
The beautiful blue waves (with cresting white tops) were rolling in with power.
.
My socks and shoes were off, and my pants were rolled up to the knee, and I was enjoying walking along the waters edge and feeling its cool touch on my bare feet.
.
As each wave came in, I could see through the clear water to the golden sand below. Rocks and occasional shells lay hidden beneath its depths.
.
It was also fun, watching others swimming in the ocean and diving into the waves.
.
Soon I came across a huge pit dug out of the sand. I suppose it all began as a sandcastle, but had eventually become more moat than castle (lol!).
.
I walked up into the broken-down entrance of the moat, where sea water was now rushing out of the pool and into the ocean.
.
When I stepped into the little “stream”, a big wave came up behind me by surprise, crashing all around me and sending water and white spray into the pool. I gasped as the cool ocean water drenched me.
.
The wave had got me with spray all over my back and up to my knees and now my lower pants were all wet!
.
So maybe you can feel a little bit of what it was like to be there. I hope you’ve enjoyed this moment to remember how fun the beach can be.

Trading Deadlines for Seashells: Is Freedom Calling You?

This past weekend, I found myself on a beautiful beach. The sun was warm, the water was cool, and the only deadlines I had were chasing retreating waves and building sandcastle empires (admittedly, mine leaned more towards elaborate moats these days).
As I waded along the water’s edge, the stress of the workweek seemed to melt away with each step. I could see the golden sand beneath the clear water, dotted with the occasional seashell whispering stories of the ocean depths.

So how does this work? I mean think about it. Most people go to work for
money.
But how many people save up and buy assets that make their money go to work for them?
I mean, I’ll bet you’ll have to think hard to think of one person that you
know who does that.
Think about how smart that is! I mean, don’t you want that to be you?
Don’t you wanna make your money do the hard work for you? I know I do!
That’s why I’m encouraging you to save up and buy assets.
One asset in particular that I’ve made my money back over and over again
is the Power Lead System (PLS).
I’ve upgraded all the way to the top level inside of PLS and made
my money back so many times I can’t even count.
Now, of course, I can’t guarantee that you’re going to get the same results
as I did. But let me let’s share a little secret with you.
First of all, it’s not really the business that’s going to create the success for you.
It’s the skills that you learn that will.
Just so you know, PLS has been around a long time and it’s a good thing.
When you realize it’s up to you to master the skills, you know it’s just a matter

It had just “dinged” me with another bunch of new Facebook messages, alerting me to all the new possible leads I was getting.
The cool thing was that it had done all the work for me, connecting with the leads and sorting out who was worth my time. And all this

done at the same time – haha!).

Last night, my wife walked out of the room. She couldn’t sleep
and just needed some calming music to help calm her nerves down. But instead of changing what I was listening to and put on something we both could enjoy, I persisted to listen to what I was listening to. After she walked out, I realized how unhappy I was with myself for letting that happen.
It wasn’t a major deal because she soon fell asleep to the sound of the news (lol) but it could have been so much more. We could have snuggled together and both fell asleep to some beautiful music that we both liked. Feel me?
Well, there’s another story rather more tragic than this one. It was how unhappy Judas (the traitor of Jesus) was with himself. In fact he was so unhappy with himself, that he threw away his fortune (30 pieces of silver) and eventually killed himself. Wow! That’s real unhappiness.
The thing was, that he did originally want the money.But he
paid too high a price for it.His betrayal cost him everything that he was. So what can we learn from this? Well,don’t betray
yourself or others for what you want!
Some things are just worth too much (like if it comes at the expense of our family or ourselves). On the flip side, if you just let your dream go and don’t fight for it, I can see how I would be disappointed in myself too. So don’t give up on yourself

PICNIC ON THE BEA CH

This weekend we had a picnic at Seal Beach. We bought two kinds of pizza from two different
pizza shops so we could see which pizza we liked the best (lol)! As it turned out, the first pizza shop won because the pizza was thicker and bigger
and came with more for the same price.

Then we found a cool shell and souvenir shop and had fun buying all kinds of pretty shells
and other nick knacks including a Hawaiian bamboo wind chime! After eating, we enjoyed setting
up the shells on the sand and taking a bunch of camera shots of it. The picture with the waves breaking
in the background won out and so that’s the one you can see in the picture above! Do you like it?

it helps to be very concise about this and write it down.

Second, it’s important to nourish your dream and let everything you do
in your day be about accomplishing it – even if it doesn’t help
directly (such as working a job to pay the bills).

If you are successful in the small things and in your daily actions
then eventually that success will catch up with your dream. It’s important at this point to read

Let’s begin with a video by Jim Rohn. Don’t underestimate the IMPORTANCE
of this video. Rohn spent much of his live advocating for the power of self-discipline,
and he delivered his seminars for more than 40 years. He died in 2009 with a net worth
of more than $500 million dollars. There’s literally no one else that
I know who can inspire you quite like Jim.

I happen to LOVE sailing.
However, I was really bad at it for a long time!
It took me making a lot of mistakes (crashing into a friends boat, a sea wall
and later rocks) and countless storms to get good at it. I’m not saying you
have to do the same thing, but you will notice that a child has to fall
down a LOT before they learn to walk.

After three years of sailing a couple times a week for four hours each session,
I began to realize I was gaining a lot of confidence and could take my friends
and family sailing with me, knowing that I would be able to have a
good trip and stay out of harms way. But it wasn’t until after 35 storms
that I developed a rock solid confidence sailing.

So you see where I’m going with this?

One of my favorite past times is heading out to sea in my Columbia 22 sailboat.
I usually set out during the day and sail about 4 miles out, enjoy the sunset and
come back at dark. Enjoying the moon and stars above me, the waves behind me pushing
me back and the faint glow of the kitchen light in the boats cabin
are all things that take my mind off the normal issues of the day and
things I really enjoy about being out at sea!

The dangers include watching for the red port and
green starboard lights of ships coming through the shipping lanes and trying to find
the harbor red and green lights so I can make it back safely.
