Hi Albie here! Having children is one thing but having them grow up and leave you is quite another (natural but still hard to deal with).
.
After years and years of taking care of them, loving on them, patching up there bruises, helping them with their homework, eating dinner together, talking in the car, laughing, night-time stories and a host of other things, my wife and I found that they were almost like our best friends. Sure, we had troubles too like anyone but the positives outweighed the negatives 10-1.
.
But the true test is when they leave home. It’s like the bird leaving the nest and flying into the wild and the only way you find out if they really love you is when they come back on their own.
.
I guess that’s what I’m feeling right now. I miss my kids a lot and I that’s why when my daughter called me and wanted to pay for a special cruise to go out to Catalina island together for my birthday, it really warmed my heart.
.
My daughter is not as fond of sailing as I am (although she doesn’t mind it) and so a nice compromise was to take a very fast ferry to Catalina instead. And this worked great for us all as my wife gets really seasick.
.
So there I was, at the back of the Catalina express, watching the boat speed along while the water at the back of the boat shot out from the propellers into the sea like rocket fire. It was unbelievable.
.

Then half way over, the suns reflections on the water glittered everywhere as we zoomed over the water at top speed. I took some pictures when we were just a few miles away from the main town called Avalon. It was interesting to use my photo lenses and zoom up on the far-away cliffs and crags, coves and inlets of the Island. The power of the lenses was intense and the images were absolutely amazing as I could see the island, rocks and water zoomed in so close.

Being on the island was really lovely too, with my lovely wife Janette, our cute golden dog and my sweet daughter Juliette.
.
We especially had fun renting some bikes and cruising along the shoreline with my daughter. The combination of being on the path beside the ocean waves and zooming by (on a fast clip) on our bikes with my daughter was like magic! I don’t know any other way to describe it. We had SO much fun! 🙂
.

In any case, life has its ups and downs, mountain TOPS and valley lows – no matter what stage of life you’re in.

And working online is the same. Throughout the years I’ve worked hard to help our paid members, and sometimes they decide to “fly away” from you too – no matter how hard you work to help them.

The interesting thing is that if you planted a good “seed” in their heart (by being kind, helpful and bending over backward to help them), they often come back. That’s been my ongoing experience for years now.

The reason this works so well is because at any given time you have a good number of customers (who remember your kind words and helpfulness to them) returning to you for advice and then to buy from you.

Hi Albie here! I was out at sea one night. The ocean was calm. The moon was shining brightly on the waves, leaving a white glistening trail over the horizon.

The wind was blowing softly in the sails moving the boat along at a nice clip. The breeze was blowing across my face as I looked out over the dark water, watching the boat speed along further out to sea. I remember feeling this peace all around me. An intense happiness to just be out on my own on this dark ocean and with the comfort of knowing that from where I sat, all was right with the world.

To inspire you that putting in the time eventually pays off. For example, if you weed a garden, it may not be perfect but its a lot better now then it was half an hour ago (lol!). And with a little more time, it will be something you look forward to looking out of your window to look at!

And that is one reason why people fail: They stop being consistent.

You will notice that many things are easy but easy to also put off. Success is built one day at a time and it takes time.
